Victor was elected in 2013 to the Board of Directors of Amigos de Chocola. In addition to his work with Amigos, Victor grows coffee and cacao in and around Chocola. He is truly one of the leaders in his community.

My greatest dream is to become an architect and to be a successful person who contributes to greater opportunities for others ... I would like to recognize the effort of Amigos and my parents who have helped me become a better person.

About

It all started when…

Six people decided to ask local residents what they could do to help alleviate the enormous poverty that existed in the village of Chocola. Over two decades later, the group has established an educational program that provides scholarships to needy and deserving students in the village, offering hope and opportunity for a brighter future and a way out of poverty.
