The People of Chocolá Need Your Help!

Every day, a politician, celebrity or NGO announces a new initiative to make the world a better place. While we salute the efforts and spirit of everyone dreaming and acting on the behalf of a livable future, saving the entire world at once is a task beyond the power of any one person. At Amigos de Chocolá, we believe building a better future for the world depends on localized effort based on principles of sustainability and respect for the cultures and traditions of others.

Amigos de Chocolá was formed to assist in providing foundations for long-term social and economic development in the town of Chocolá, Guatemala. Generally, our planned programs include educational, financial and medical assistance. From a development perspective, the town has tremendous future economic potential in eco-tourism and specialty agriculture.
